How to delete your Touch Grade account and data

Your Touch Grade account and data can be deleted by using the Touch Grade mobile app. Open the Touch Grade mobile app, sign-in, then go to Settings > Delete account and follow instructions.

Deleting your account cannot be undone. All your data is deleted when your account is deleted. Your data cannot be recovered once deleted.

After deleting your account, you can register a new Touch Grade account using the same email address.

What happens to your Touch Grade subscription after deleting your account

Deleting your account does not affect your Touch Grade subscription.

Your subscription will remain in the state you left it in. Meaning, your subscription will automatically renew on the next billing date and your credit card will be charged, unless you pause or cancel your subscription.

In addition to deleting your account, it is your responsibility to pause or cancel your subscription through Google Play or App Store, depending on where you purchased it.

What data does Touch Grade store on you

Touch Grade stores the following data on you, all of which is deleted when you delete your account.

1. The email address you used to register for the Touch Grade account
2. Your Touch Grade user id
3. Your unique encryption key used to encrypt your database files and image files

If, using the Touch Grade mobile app, you also opted-in to automatic, or manual, backups of your app data to a remote cloud storage server, then the following information is also stored by us:

4. App database file
   The app database file is always encrypted and contains the following data
   • Class names
   • Student names and student numbers
   • Student enrollment information
   • Evaluations and answer keys
   • Student grades on each evaluation
5. Your scanned images
6. The physical location of the cloud storage server you selected when you opted-in to app data backups, for example, Toronto, Canada
